A chunky cotton corduroy fabric in a rich, jewel shade of purple.
This is 8 wale corduroy (which means there are 8 wales - the raised ridges - per inch.)
This will work well for jackets and coats, but is also soft enough to use for garments such as dungarees, pinafore dresses, and trousers, as well as soft furnishings and other craft projects.
This listing is for a single piece, measuring 88cm ONLY. There are two of these pieces available, so if you order both you will receive two separate pieces.

Care Instructions (always do your own test though): Wash at 30°, low iron, Dry Cleanable, Cool Tumble Dry, Do Not Bleach
Don't forget when sewing that corduroy has a 'nap' - all your pieces need to be going in the same direction and you want it to be smooth from top to bottom when wearing, or you'll feel like a cat being stroked the wrong way all the time.
Take care not to squash the fibres when pressing too!
