Merchant & Mills: 'Gala' Organic Cotton and Linen Mix

A beautifully soft yarn-dyed cotton & linen blend fabric with a 2cm stripe in a summery red and cream.

This versatile fabric will work for garments such as lightweight trousers, shirts, tops and dresses, but would also be great to use for patchwork, quilting and as soft furnishings around the home.

A summer-weight mix of organic cotton and linen, this fabric is soft and supple, with a good amount of body and will sew up like a dream. The inclusion of cotton makes this fabric softer and less crease-retentive than pure linen.

Priced per HALF metre. Multiple units will be sent as a continuous length.

Don't forget to pre-wash your fabric before sewing!

Care: Machine wash at 30℃ with non-bio detergent. For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
