from 47 reviewsRita and the fellow students made me very welcome. Rita was on hand to steer you in he right direction and advise youof different methods to see such as inserting collars and getting that professional finish on collar points. A lovely very well equipped and friendly atmosphere. Not to mention the wonderful fabric choice so neatly displayed. I challenge a sewing friend to “walk on by” -
I recently tried one of the Sewcial sessions as I never find time to sew for myself these days. It was great to have some dedicated time to get started on a new project whilst meeting new people and chatting whilst creating. I will definitely book another and hopefully get a bit more done on my project.
I had a great time making my Lyra Shirt Dress in Rita's class.
I've never made a collar or done buttonholes before and honestly if I had been doing this at home I would have given up. Rita was very patient and guided me through the instructions, giving me the confidence and support I needed to complete the dress.
I wore the finished dress this weekend and have received soooo many compliments. It's my new favourite ❤️❤️❤️
Many thanks for the beautiful Oilskin.
My partner made the two sitting mats for outdoor picnics from it, should be lovely when we go out tomorrow.
I absolutely love my liberty fabric. It is exactly what l wanted to complete my daughters quilt. Delivery was quicker than l anticipated. A big heart felt Thank you to Catkin and Scraps and l know l will be ordering again soon 💕
Love the socials .getting to meet such a varied group of people all with the same interest
I bought this for a baby receiving blanket. The colours are delicate and it’s very soft.
Thank you so much for my samples which arrived quickly. For £1.25, which really only covers the postage, I received 3 lovely big samples which gives me a great feel for the fabric. So often, you get the tiniest scrap from a fabric shop and it is really hard to imaging how the garment will turn out. Work has suddenly got so busy that I haven't any time for sewing but I hope to place an order soon. Many thanks again.
Good value, a surprise it's valid for a year, many other vouchers are only valid for 3, 4 or 6 months
Lovely shimmering silver fabric, irons well and close enough weave to use for quilting.
Great projects ,great company, great instruction
Always helpful, informative and lots of fun. I am looking forward to my next one to work on a piece that is NEARLY finished.
Absolutely beautiful fabric: which dress pattern to choose? Thinking Sew Me Something Jessica or Florence dress or possibly something by Maison Fauve.
Excellent service from Catkin and Scraps
I've washed it, just need to cut it up and sew it. Really lovely colours - just as they are online and it's a nice soft dbl gauze. Can't wait to wear it. Thinking of using it for a Sew Liberated 'Aida'.... we shall see!
Beautiful fabric, so pretty and colourful. I just might have to order more for my stash as I've nearly used all of my initial purchase 😊 I'm sure it's very popular with lots of quilters.
