Sewing Lesson: Extra Spot

Extra Spot sewing lessons are spare places on current courses that you can book onto as a one-off. These extra spaces are a great way to catch up on a bit of sewing or get some help where you're at without committing to a full course.

I'll help you make whatever you're making, as long as it's a garment and your level is beginner - intermediate. These spaces are not suitable for advanced sewists. If you're unsure, you can check with me first.

These are two-hour sessions taking place in the Catkin & Scraps shop Making Space, with full use of our Janome sewing machines and overlockers. Tea and coffee is available and there is a changing room to try on your makes.

Basic sewing supplies are available to use, but we do advise to bring your own kit if you have one so you don't have to wait to use the communal ones and you will need to bring your own pins to use.

The workshop is fairly accessible, but if you have any special requirements as far as access or seating goes please do get in touch and we'll see what we can do.

If you change your mind or circumstances mean that you can no longer take part, please let me know as soon as possible. You can cancel or change your booking up to two days beforehand, after that we will only refund you if we are able to fill your place.
