Monday Monthly Sewing Club

The Monday Sewing Club sessions are just like one of my two-hour sewing classes, except that you can book them individually and you can make what you like!

I can help you choose a project that suits your skill level, or choose one yourself, just check with me that it's something I can help you with.

There will be one sessions every month, on Monday 1pm-3pm. You can book them individually at the shop or online. 

Suitable for beginners and improvers, as long as you have some basic sewing knowledge (for example, you have taken my Complete Beginners course.) If you're unsure if it would be suitable for you, do get in touch.

The sessions take place in the Catkin & Scraps shop Making Space, with full use of our Janome sewing machines and overlockers. Tea and coffee is available and there is a changing room to try on your makes.

Basic sewing supplies are available to use, but we do advise to bring your own kit if you have one so you don't have to wait to use the communal ones and you will need to bring your own pins to use.

The workshop is fairly accessible, but if you have any special requirements as far as access or seating goes please do get in touch and we'll see what we can do.

There are a maximum of four spaces per session, so if you'd like to take part, don't hang about too long!

Sessions will only run if enough places are filled. If you change your mind or circumstances mean that you can no longer take part, please let me know as soon as possible. You can cancel your booking up to one week beforehand, after that we will only refund you if we are able to fill your place.
