Silk Noil, Undyed
Silk Noil, Undyed
Silk noil is a gorgeous fabric, often called 'raw silk' though technically that's not what it is. It's made from the silk waste left in the cocoon and is textured and slubby.
We love this fabric because of its softness and drape, as well as the subtle sheen it still has.
It is undyed (a lovely creamy colour) and can be used as it is or you can dye it yourself.
This fabric MUST be pre-washed before using for garment making as it will shrink by up to 8% depending on how you wash it (we pre-washed ours in the machine at 30℃ but it may not shrink as much if you hand wash it.)
Priced per QUARTER metre.
