Chambray

Chambray is a light to mediumweight woven fabric that has a white weft thread and a coloured warp. It can be made of linen or cotton and can look very like denim, though it is smoother, lighter and is a plainwoven fabric rather than a twill.

It's great for shirts and shirt dresses, tops and tunics.
