Merchant & Mills Organic Cotton Seersucker 'Mirabelle'

A glorious large-scale cotton seersucker gingham in my favourite Merchant & Mills colourway: hot pink and orange. 

Seersucker has a naturally crinkled texture that makes for great hot-weather garments - no need to iron either! The texture makes the fabric feel cool as it sits slightly away from the body.

You can use it to make garments such as dresses, skirts, wide-leg trousres and shorts, tunics, kaftans, kimonos etc.

Country of origin; India.
NB: Indian cottons are sometimes susceptible to irregularities in the weave due to their handmade nature, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws.

Care:For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
Wash at 30 or 40 degrees with a non bio detergent. Do not tumble dry.
