Noodlehead: Runaround Bag

Meet the Runaround Bag! It’s called the Runaround Bag because it’s the perfect size for running errands and regular day-to-day stuff. It’ll hold all your goodies, but not so many that your shoulder will feel like it’s breaking off!

Materials needed:
Requirements based on 44” wide fabric.

• Exterior fabric: 69cm (3/4 yd) *
• Interior fabric: 69cm (3/4 yd) *
• Pocket + pocket lining (if using 1/2 yd cuts): Fat Quarter (approx. 50x55cm or 8"x22")
• 2 yds (1.9.) of 13mm (1/2") double fold bias tape (shop bought or handmade - you'll need 69cm (1/2 yd) of fabric to make your own)
• 14mm or 18mm magnetic snap (optional)
• 18cm (7) zip (optional)
• 1.37m (1 1/2 yds) fusible woven interfacing (Pellon SF101, 20"-wide) (We use Vilene G700, which is wider, so you'll probably need less)
• thread
• water soluble pen

*Instead of two 3/4 yd cuts you can use two 1/2 yd (69cm) cuts, in which case you'll need an additional fat quarter for the pocket + pocket lining

Recommended Fabrics: home dec, heavy linen, denim, canvas, twill for exterior, quilting cottons for lining.
