Sew Different: Eclipse Dress

A paper sewing pattern by UK Indie pattern company Sew Different.

The Eclipse Dress is a loose-fitting delicate bubble shape with a diagonal style line that wraps around the dress. There is an oversized patch pocket with a secret second pocket hidden inside. It features a softly curved scoop hem that drops down at the back and is finished with bias binding. You have the option of sleeveless or with elbow length sleeves with a chunky foldback. There are lengthen / shorten lines to allow you to adjust to above the knee or to suit your taste. The Eclipse Dress goes on over the head with no need for a zip.

NOTE: the Eclipse dress comes up smaller than some other Sew Different patterns and you are advised to make a size larger than your usual.

Suggested fabrics: linen, cotton, cotton blends, lightweight wool, stable jersey, viscose, chambray
