Sew Different: Mini-Me Pomme Jacket

A paper sewing pattern by UK Indie pattern company Sew Different.

The Pomme Jacket is a fully lined and padded jacket for those cooler days. It can be made from many types of medium-weight fabrics and looks particularly good quilted*. Its simple shape and chunky pockets are highlighted with a decorative bias binding finish that looks fabulous in a contrasting colour. It doesn’t have a fastening but a zip can easily be added at the final stage if desired. It can easily be made reversible. The optional apple appliqué comes in 3 sizes and looks great as a pocket decoration, on the sleeve or large scale on the back.

*You can use pre-quilted fabric and omit the need for wadding.

Level: Advanced beginner

Suggested fabrics: cotton, pre-quilted fabrics, denim, corduroy, wool.

The pattern contains seven sizes, for ages 1, 2, 3, 4, 5-6, 7-8 and 9-10.

Fabric 150cm / 60” wide: 1-3 years 0.5m / 0.75yds, 4 years 0.75m / 1yd, 5-6 years 1m / 1.25yds, 7-10 years 1.2m / 1.25yds
Fabric 112cm / 44” wide: 1-6 years 1m / 1.25yds, 7-10 years 1.25m / 1.25yds
