A paper sewing pattern by UK Indie pattern company Sew Different.
The Rumpus Pants are a hardwearing practical design for young adventurers with spacious pockets (for collecting treasures) and padded knee patches. The longer length allows for a turn-up at the bottom (and longevity as they grow). The waistband is elasticated, with the option of a drawstring as well at the front. They can be made unlined or fully lined for extra warmth on those intrepid expeditions.
Level: Advanced beginner
Suggested fabrics: cotton, denim, corduroy, wool.
The pattern contains seven sizes, for ages 1, 2, 3, 4, 5-6, 7-8 and 9-10.

Fabric 150cm / 60” wide: 1-3 years 0.75m / 0.75yds, 4-10 years 1m / 1.25yds
Fabric 112cm / 44” wide: 1-4 years 1m / 1,25yds, 5-8 years 1.25m / 1.5yds, 9-10 years 1.75m / 2yds
