A paper sewing pattern by Style Arc.
Queenie is a versatile woven dress pattern based on the sought-after The Vampire's Wife Falconetti dress. It's fitted at the waist with a swishy skirt and lots of different sleeve options.
The dress has a round neck with a darted bodice, optional hem frills, and opens with a 24" concealed zip at the centre back.
Choose between a double fluted sleeve, an elbow length sleeve with double frill and a gathered head, a plain short sleeve or a long sleeve with a shirred cuff and a gathered head.
Suggested fabrics: silk, rayon, crepe, charmeuse.
Difficulty: Medium-Hard
Fabric estimates (based on 148cm wide fabric):
Bodice & Skirt size 4-18 1.7m, 20-30 2.5m
Hem Frill: 4-18 50cm, 20-30 1.7m
Sleeve 1: 4-18 0.7m, 20-30 1.35m
Sleeve 2: all sizes 0.9m
Sleeve 3: all sizes 0.4m
Sleeve 4 all sizes 0.9m
You'll also need a 24" concealed zip, 15cm of fusible interfacing and 15cm tulle if you're doing the sleeve head roll.
Choose between UK sizes 4-16 (US 0-12) or size 18-30 (US 14-26) at check out. This pattern goes up to a 58 1/4" bust and 50 1/2" waist and 61" hip.
